Don't get it twisted. If Canelo can beat Angulo that WILL be an amazing feat. El Perro is a beast and might be the best fighter in the divsion when in shape and healthy.

De la hoya will do the right thing and make a fight between Angulo/Vanes...De la hoya, me, and almost everyone who is reading this knows that Vanes is no threat to either Angulo or Canelo.

If Vanes beats Angulo in their Eliminator then he has earned the right to fight Canelo for the tittle. If Angulo wins he will forever shut Vanes up.Plain and simple....

So, Stop with these bull chet theories...and stop making excuses for this guy. He will get a shot at Angulo if he really wants it.

Unless he still wants to take his TEMPORARY move to middleweight and avoid his date with Angulo...
Angulo and Vanes having to fight each other in order to get to Canelo is bull**** in itself, just buying more time for Alvarez.

oh Vanes wants it alright, question and what I'm worried about is whether it can/will get made. And that requires willingness from both sides. Instead of this chitchat we shoot be pressuring our own respective fighters to make it happen.

After the Saul Roman fight, Bob Aurum said he wanted to set up a fight between El canelo and Vanes. He paid good sanctioning fee's. To bad he just paid for the Silver belt and a good ranking. And to bad it was only a SEMI-FINAL ELIMINATOR bout...not a TITTLE ELIMINATOR.

I guess Bob Aurum did not expect EL PERRO signing with GBP and having his visa issue nearly resolve.

Bob wants Vanes to face Alvarez and if that means getting past angulo then he'll be good with that matchup. De la hoya has faith in El perro and will also be ok with making that fight.

Angulo joined GBP to avoid Martirosyan. He always comes overweight.

good move for Angulo, and looks like we might get a few good fights in the division in the next 12-18 months
