      Generally those type of KO's usually don't ruin fighters because its one blow compared to several blows. But then again Williams always had a warrior type of style that he was getting hit a bit in his other fights aswell.

      If that punch did ruin him, I'd say it wasn't just that punch but the accumulation of punches. Lara hit him alot... Thats why I think Williams really deserves an easy opponent.

        he doesn't need to retire if he thinks he can still fight...he needs to rematch lara though.

          Paul Williams has always struggled with quicker mobile southpaws.

          Quintana, Martinez and Lara all had that sort of style.

          Because Paul has struggled recently, people think he's done when thats not the case.

          I think Paul has alot left, he just needs a new trainer and for his promoter to get him the right fights ( fighters he actually matches up well with so he can rack up some wins and get his confidence back).
