Who do you think won Alexander vs Matthysse??

I thought each fighter won 6 rounds with Matthysse getting a 10-8 round. Fight was close, but Matthysse won by 1 point, IMO.

However, I don't really like to complain about that fight. I think Matthysse screwed himself over in that 9th round. Matthysse had built himself a lead and it looked like he was on his way to a UD. But for some reason he let Alexander come back and win the 9th round and then had a close 10th round making the fight a lot closer then it should've been.

Matthysse had 2 dominate rounds and then let Alexander come back in the final 2 rounds. He dropped the ball and has no one to blame but himself for that loss.

Close but clear for Matthysse. I had him winning five rounds clearly - all he needs when you factor in the knockdown - but I also felt that there were one or two other rounds that could be scored either way. I only felt that Alexander won three rounds clearly. Alexander is such a horrible fighter to watch, with his too-short air shots and power grunts.

I had Lucas winning 7 rounds to 3 plus a KD, its a clear robbery. Even if you give Devon 2 more rounds he still loses because of the KD.

I might watch the fight again but i don't really want to because the 2 times i have watched it, it has pissed me off.

Lucas dominated rounds 7,8,10th & got the 10-8 round in round 4.That leaves 6 extra rounds correct??Now all 6 of those rounds were indeed close.IMO Lucas should have gotten at least 2 of those.I gave him the 2nd & 3rd.

I beleive he won that fight convincingly & he will get another fight on hbo.Boxing has a great story with this kid.Does anyone else realizre that Mattysse has boxed evenly with 2 of boxing's most naturally gifted fighters??

He is not the average power puncher,he has skill & better than average spead.He sparrs with Martinez.I'm sure he'll be a champ some day.That kid has got the goods.He kinda looks & fights similar to Tzu to me,lol!!

Mathhyse clearly won,alexander may hav been busier but his punches hardly landed and had no affect at all mathhyse landed the cleaner harder shots rd after round.

This fight was a lot clearer to me than the Kotelnik fight, Lucas won plain and simple no two ways about it, the kotelnik fight was more difficult to score and I initially had that fight for Devon until I watch it again.
