I think kessler would be a nice warm up fight. Knocking his face into retirement would be enough credibility to fight the winner of the SS.

As much as I like bute, him facing the winner of the tournament is kind of a slap in the face to the tournament winner.........

It sure is. Andre Ward nor Carl Froch should feel any need to fight Bute unless Lucian is leaving Canada and making concessions on the purse.

I see a Bute - Super 6 winner fight as being much more difficult to make than people are assuming.

Bute's promotor obviously loves feeding him easy opponents as the fights still generate good revenue for him without any type of risk. Putting him in with Ward or Froch is putting his meal ticket at risk and I expect Michel to be much more apprehensive about making the fight than he is letting on in the media.

A title belt means guaranteed big money, without that belt Bute would be nowhere near as valuable to Michel who doesn't have much of a stable to fall back on.

hell id even like to see him fight jermain taylor
I don't think the promoter is the problem as far as matchmaking is concerned

they have already offered fights to :

            Froch before super 6
            Kessler
            Stieglitz

either they offer too litttle money, or these guys are overpricing themselves

in numerous interviews bute said he wants to fight: froch, kessler, pavlik, ward etc

in an even earlier romanian interview he said he wants to unify the super middleweight division

bute will fight anyone anytime anywhere.
