Probably right. I can't see GBP letting that fight happen if Angulo still has it... If I were Angulo, i would definitely consider looking bad on purpose against my next opponent.

@danrafaelespn: Was told by @GaryShawBoxing that he sold Alfredo Angulo's contract today to @goldenboyboxing, which will promote his 8/20 return in Mexico.

Could this mean Canelo-Angulo in December?

Who knows maybe they did it to keep him busy with other fighters and keep him on a parallel path with Alvarez until they think he's ready. Angulo is still a really dangerous guy and good attraction but Alvarez is still their future cash cow.
