I think Vitali is a good boxer as well. I've always been a fan of the Klitschko's so it's nice to see that people are starting to give them credit and recognition. I think Vitali should stay on top of the division for quite a while, assuming that he doesn't take anybody lightly. I hate when boxers do that, and it usually spells doom when they do.

Don't get me wrong, I only said Vitali. Wlad's okay, but he lacks proper heart, aggression and chin. I also think he's technically deficient.

I should probably stay out of this discussion due to respect (it is sort of a tribute thread). Just asking: don't you think Vitali Klitschko punches too much to the back of his opponent's heads? No offence to anyone ... just a question.

I see. In what ways do you think Wladimir is deficient? To me, I think since he started training with Manny, his skills have started to shine. He's finally fighting tall lol and keeping his hands up. I hate that flail thing he does when he gets into/out of clinches.

About the weak chin though, recently Wladimir has been in against heavy handed hitters who are meant to clean your clock in 1 shot. So when he gets tagged, it seems like he can't take a punch. And every time he gets dropped, he gets up and tries to keep fighting, so I think him having heart, or lackthereof, is no question. Thoughts?

I'm not a Klitschko fan, but I have no REAL reason not to like him. On paper he is the best HW today, although there should be no Ring #1 HW cause these bammas refuse to fight each other. My top 5 HW:

            1. Vitali
            2. Brew
            3. JT
            4. Byrd
            5. Wlad

You have a point actually. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Wlad, but I just don't rate him as highly as Vitali. There's probably only three active heavies that could trouble Big Klit (and he managed to keep his footing when he took a flush shot off Sanders) but anyone can potentially beat Wlad on any given night.

He HAS got heart, but Vitali has got that inner fire that Wlad doesn't seem to possess. Both view it as a technical science, but Vitali has that back-up of aggression that Wlad seems to lack.

"Let me tell you something, boy -"
                "What's that?"
                "I said Roy."

I agree with that. Vitali does seem to have and extra umph in his punches when he gets hit. Wladimir does seem to hold on a little too much, whereas Vitali fights more. In any event, I hope they both do well in boxing.

                    Definitely, good luck to them.

But it's not even the strength thing for me. I just can't see Wlad digging that deep somehow, and getting into a real dog fight if it called for it. We already know Vitali can.

Vitali can get the job done in this current division, he is a very smart fighter, and only him and Brewster are knocking people out, thats what fans want from a champion.

Hes no spring chicken though, so hes gonna have to start fighting more often.

I like Vitali too Anorak, even though his style is real robotic, hes a good person who holds the title with class.
