it's no surprise hbo thinks these are great undercard fights considering they think berto-freddie hernandez is a million dollar fight.

If nobody gets hurt or pulls out Mayweather Ortiz ppv card will do close to 2 million ppv buys.

Mexicans should boycott HBO because of their Mexiphobia and we should boycott any companies associated with HBO. Furthermore, we should boycott any companies that the Mexiphobe Larry Merchant or any of his family or friends own or own stock in. Mexicans always get a loss in big fights they've won like JM Marquez-Pacquiao 2, Castillo-Mayweather 1, De La Hoya-Trinidad, De La Hoya Moseley 2 etc, etc. Merchant has declared war on Mexicans. Max KKKellerman still has time to change.

Thank All your Philipino haters out their who will buy your PPV but not to see you fight but to rooth against you and hope that you lose.Thank Tecate for being a sponsor and thank De La Hoya for doing business with you. Thank Victor Ortiz for being somewhat Mexican. And last but not least...Thank god for all of this.

this undercard sucks btw. canelo vs gomez? what a mismatch but canelo is a big name so that makes it ok? morales vs matthyse? ok another mismatch with another big name. where are the strong undercard fights? stuffing undercards with popular names doesn't mean it is strong unless they are in good fights but they are not which makes it weak. do boxing fans even care about boxing or do they just like seeing guys they have heard of before regardless of the quality of the actual fight? i really don't get it. vargas vs lopez is the most competitive fight on the entire card!

Morales vs. Matthysse will be competitive. And Alfonso Gomez is better than you give him credit for, I expect him to surprise a lot of people with his performance.

Notice that the good undercards are all coming from Golden Boy Promotions? When is Bob Arum going to get off his old wrinkled behind and give the fans value for their money?

Bob Arum don't care about pleasing the hard core boxing fans he really doesn't he knows you guys well buy his crappy cards that's way he puts out those low budget Pay Per View cards that he would have Chavez Jr on or the Power Pony cards that he would have Nonito Donaire fighting bums on for low price of 39.99 Lol.

Two or three solid undercards getting put together is hardly a trend. And we haven't even gotten to them yet. Who knows if anyone will pull out or get injured?

Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

More importantly, stop trying to doll out kudos to people for doing what they're getting overpaid to do - match two fighters together in a way that the fight won't be an eyesore.
