Everlast powercore free standing heavy bag

I'm thinking about buying this next month when I get some money, and was wondering if anyone here knew if it was a good choice or not?

Since I can't post links yet, I'll just say that it's from ringside for 130.

It didn't seem to great, but the amount of money I'll be able to spend isn't very much. And I won't be getting any more money for quite a while, so I'm not sure what to do about it

Im really not tryna sound like a ****..but my girkfriend has one of these.
If youre looking for a cheap bag just to mess around with then sure grab it but if youre serious about hitting anheavybag stay away from this. It was good for her but her brother ripped into it tryna be like tyson and cracked the plastic that holds it up so now its an ornament.

well if you have a basement or some type of structure that could support a hanging heavy bag or something then look on ebay or even at a used sporting goods store. I am sure there are plenty of used sporting goods stores down in Texas that will have heavy bags (even free standing ones).

I would rather have a hanging heavy bag but in my house there's nothing to hold it up. But if I could find a stand and bag within my budget that'd be good so I'll try looking for either one used. Thanks

Ah, well thanks for letting me know. This is the kind of information I was looking for. I don't wanna end up getting something that'd break on me.

I don't get the appeal of freestanding bags. Hate 'em

I don't know about why some other people like them, but for me it was just the seemingly low price

Yeah man..its not something you can treat like a normal hanging heavybag but if you treat it the way its supposed to be treated itll last
