I hate to **** on anyones dreams but I think it is too late to be an effective pro unless you have some god given talent you did not know you had until now....But do what makes you happy just be careful.

I don't think so! If it is what you want then go for it. Just make sure you find a good gym with a good trainer that actually teaches you some good skills and technique.

        hmm

In today's boxing world with the lack of skill out there, you could do it. If you have som amount of skill and ability to be coached, then it is not too late. Not saying you'll be a world champ or anything but you could have a go with it, I think.

If you don't know this by now, then you shouldn't really ask.

Go for it brother ... are you a big fan of boxing? You should know there have been exceptional guys who got late starts. You'll get good skills for self defense if you work hard and maybe you'll become a good amateur with some perserverance and dedication.

Maybe not an Olympian but still ...
