Why did Pacquiao fight Mosley?

Thats exactly what we are debating.

Pacquiao didn't need to fight OLD Mosley to sell PPV'S he could have taken any YOUNG prime fighter and done it.

Instead he took the absolute safe way out.

Margarito, Clottey, Cotto, Hatton---the last four dudes were young. One old fighter, same as Floyd fought, and all this mud gets thrown at him. Double standard?

Pacquiao probably believed what Roach and others were saying that Shane would be a tough fight, lots of power, etc. It's not Manny's fault Shame and scared and refused to engage.

Also, boxing is all about names. Shame Mosley is a much bigger name than Berto, Bradley, Maidana (who lost to Khan). Who has Berto or Bradley ever beaten? By the way, Bradley is currently on a track to face Pacquiao.
