Whats all this hype around Gary Russell Jr

Ive not had the chance to see him fight live yet, other than watching some youtube videos now. Looks fast, good pop and in great condition.

Was wondering what everyone else thinks? or to get an opinion from someone who's followed him for a while now?

I'm late to the party as well but from what I've seen on youtube the kid is lightning fast. I'll keep an eye open for future fights.

his hand speed is unreal, I swear Ive just seen him clip off about 25 punches in about 5/6 seconds. great combinations aswell

I've heard his name around the past few months, I just thought I had to check him out and see what you guys thought.

But I think I've got another prospect to follow now

He fights like a seasoned vet. He already looks about as polished and skilled as anyone currently @ Featherweight IMHO, and that's saying alot considering how short his pro career has been and also given the talent in the division.
