His KO ratio is not very good & from what I saw from him, he doesn't hit very hard.

How about the fact that Cotto was nearly knocked on his ass by Chop Chop Corley, a 140 lb fighter. Was knocked on his ass by the last guy he fought, which was supposed to be a tune-up. Cotto moves up to even a 154 catch weight and Ishe sends him packing, guaranteed.

Mayweather isn't that powerful either but I'd pick him to knock Cotto out within 6-8 rounds easily.

Don't get me wrong, I like Cotto. Like I said, I would pick him to beat Estrada, and obviously would want him to. However, in reality I know Cotto's days are numbered before he starts losing. His best performance, imo, was his fight against Abdulaev. That was Cotto at his very best. He'll have to keep getting to that form when he fights others. He actually respected Abdulaev, while he didn't have much respect for Corley or that last guy.

        hmm

There are rumors that Miguel Cotto has a drinking and partying problem and this may be affecting his ability to take punches. Cotto's brain has been getting rocked lately and we all know the more you get rocked the easier it is to get rocked the next fight.

Cotto also has been draining himself forever. That's no secret, pretty common knowledge that he's draining himself from at least 160 or so.

Right now, Cotto is giving me that feeling I had about Cintron after seeing Cintron struggle a bit much with Teddy Reid. It was based on that fight, among other things, that made me pick Margarito to knock Cintron out within 6 rounds.

That would be a good debut fight for Cotto at 147....

I want to see this fight. I was reading somewhere that Estrada has the potential to move from 140-147 so this would explain why Estrada would be moving down. It's a tough matchup but with a legendary trainer on his side, and an exceptional workrate I think he can upset Cotto.

More importantly, Estrada is bigger than Cotto. Estrada is a welterweight with a high workrate and a good chin. He would outwork Cotto and defeat him.

Excuses are excuses but I have read a couple different times that David Estrada should have in no way fought Ishe when he did..he was sick as a dog according to some reports but he gutted it out anyways.

                  Again excuses are excuses.
