Hopkins run has just begun , he's fighting at a lighting quick pace and being more aggressive and still has outstanding stamina, one of the best(if not the best) defense in boxing , great chin (Pascal landed some bombs that will kill others) , he will FORCE chad to fight his fight and embarrass, brutalize, discourage and take Chad's soul with a CLINIC.... !!!

Bhop was never ducking this clown, he was just waiting for more people to know who chad was so the fight could have meaning.

Out of Hopkins 20 defenses at middleweight, 15 were bums. He was trying to sit back for longevity, waiting for Roy to slow down to get revenge. This is a new era and Chad will beat Hopkins because he is probably the most skilled since young Roy that Hopkins has faced with accuracy and length. I would not be supprised at all if he knocked Hopkins out.

As for this fight I'm not interested in what they say for the lead up. In some cases a pre-built to the fight is interesting to watch, but only if it's Mayweather or Pacquiao. Dawson doesn't need to say anything interesting, it's just talk, same thing with Hopkins.

My prediction is Dawson knocks out Hopkins by either KO or TKO. Hopkins is not going to counter Dawson. Dawson's speed combined with his boxing skills, will be too much for Hopkins to handle. I see Dawson returning to his original form (the day he fought Adamek) and just putting on a clinic.

Dawson was high on a lot of P4P lists before the Pascal fight.

While his last fight was nothing special, Chad Dawson was at one time very highly regarded and a lot of people were saying Hopkins wasn't interested in him. It's important to remember that and not get caught on the bandwagon.

If Dawson uses his speed, distance and movement, then he can give Bernard difficulty.

If Hopkins is allowed to dictate the pace of the fight and starts landing those sneaky right hands, then 'Bad Chad' is in for a rough night.

Dawson wants the fight to be about athletic ability while Hopkins wants the fight to be determined by the psyche. Aside from being on PPV, this is a fight worth getting interested in.
