According to trainer Edison "Eddy" Reynoso, WBC junior middleweight world champion Saul Alvarez (37-0-1, 27 KOs) is going to fight on the tentative date of December 3 against a top contender in the WBC's rankings. Before he gets to December, Alvarez returns on September 17th against Alfonso Gomez at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Reynoso says the fight in December will likely take place in the United States.
