He is a star in the making! Why does he need to fight on the US channels to be considered a star? He came far closer to stopping Ndou than Saul Alvarez did. Joe Calzaghe was a star for his whole career and rarely boxed on US channels. Then at the end of his career decided to have a couple of big fights in the US and whooped Roy Jones and Bhop. The first time you will see Kell on US tv he will be dropping Khan at 147lbs.

brook is not even a household name in his home country, how do you expect him to fight bigger names on a network like SKY or HBO?
gotta beat some decent guys and earn a shot at the title.

he's still highly ranked by IBF and WBA and is definitely a gatekeeper to bigger things atm.

Joe was seen for MANY years on TV going back to the Brewer fight. TV exposure on MAJOR networks is what makes a star. A STAR is recognized everywhere.

Exactly, I'm sick of these fools talking like they're made of gold, and all they do is fight boring easy tomato cans.

Remember, a fight with Mike Jones was being discussed, but neither wanted it. No, big surprise.

Brook will fight these boring fights, no one cares about for a large part of his career, and then he will b1tch about not being a big star.
