I think uppercut is the right puch for Froch, against any opponent. He has a nice uppercut and he showed that against guys like Reid and Rybacki.

Froch does have a good uppercut(he also showed against Magee)but it can be a dngerous punch for him to throw against Ward..Froch sometimes throws it from too far out,he has to be careful with that against Ward imo...

p.s, ward was getting owned by abraham in the first couple of rounds till arthur blew his load so don't give me this ward is slick sht, he usually just hugs to avoid getting hit, no duckin and slipping from this guy

He may not have to worry about Ward's power (which is underrated IMO, he aint the SMW Paulie FFS), but he will have to worry about being countered, especially if he throws that uppercut - which Stevie Wonder would be able to see coming

M a huge Froch fan bro,but he can't underestimate Wards Power bro..And he has to fight smart to beat Ward,and throwing that uppercut out of position is not smart..

AA's jab cause Ward problems for the first 3 round, only when he abandoned that and went for wild haymakers that Ward took control.

Yeah Arthur has stamina problem, normally a slow started, walks his opponents down and comes on late in the fight.

Against Ward he started quick, throwing a lot more than he normally does and using the jab.

After 3 rounds he was spent, could not keep that pace up and was just looking for one big shot.

Froch has great stamina and can fight at a high pace for 12 rounds.

If Froch tries to box with the masterboxer, he gets countered. If he tries to brawl, he gets hit even more. Ward will dominate. And any of those so called "Touches" would flatten anyone here. Boxing 101 - Ward does not run you idiot. Ward will be backing Froch up often. Count on it.
