Great thread Walt...alot good feed back on this fight. Honestly thought more people would be favoring Marez for this fight. Being that Agbeko is the underdog, i might consider putting some serious money on him. I thought Marez might cruise to a decision in this fight but that's not the case here...Gonna go back and look at some tapes on both fighters..NSB need more threads like this..

He lost to perez in the first fight because he decided to fight perez's fight. he thought he could beat him toe to toe, which he couldn't (which I thought abner did by 2 rds in their fight).

A lot of people keep mentioning Donaire, but I doubt either of these guys will actually fight him. There's a difference between good fighters and great ones and the promoters recognize that. We'll probably see the winner fight Anselmo. Of course Bob Arum will try his hardest to lure one of them to fight the Flash.
mares used pressure and body punching to beat darchinyan, he didn't outbox him. and i doubt he will outbox agbeko, it's the opposite imo if agbeko will stick to the plan. agbeko has better ring movements imo if he doesn't get too excited going toe to toe.

Very excited. I got Agbeko by decision.
Winner of this fight apparently gets Moreno, which is bullcrap. Donaire should get the winner of this fight.

WTF is the winner fighting Moreno not Nonito for bojang? I haven't heard that. I thought Nonito was specifically waiting for the winner of this tourney.
