I don't see why Maidana expects a rematch. Yes the first fight was close but Khan clearly won and the decision was not disputed. Khan has bigger Fish to fry.

It really wasn't that close. Maidana was lucky to make it out the 1st round.

          **** off, Maidana.

          Amir already beat you.

Why don't you give Ortiz or Morales a rematch, ay?

Well at least in my opinion, Amir appears to be avoiding the bigger punchers in the division, like Breidis Prescott and Marcos Maidana; Both of whom had either knocked him out or nearly knocked out. It's probably the reason why he won't give them rematches because he doesn't trust his chin and fears boxers with power.

yeah because Amir's last opponent, Zab Judah, has no power whatsoever.

Zab knocked out the guy, who Kendall Holt (Big puncher) couldn't beat, let alone knock him out.

yeah which is why he fought Maidana just to avoid him? GOOD LOGIC. Maidana give Morales a rematch then you can talk buddy.

Lol that version of Holt was not at his best, either way though Amir-Maidana was a very good fight and this could be a good way to start the trilogy. A rematch a year later is pretty good and for Khans last fight at 140 would be a great way to prove he went out on top at 140. Maidana had Khan pretty hurt in the last rounds, Khan won for sure, but he still was out on his feet and Maidana can do that again. IF he were to win that would set up a good III at 147 eventually.

If not Peterson, Prescott, Morales/Matthysse, Bradley,Guerrero if he beats Maidana, I dont see who else he could really fight anymore at 140 besides these. Maybe they lure Devon Alexander to fight 1 more time at 140.
