Interview by Bartosz Biszczanik/www.BoxingNews.pl We present an interview with a former challenger for the WBC heavyweight championship title, Kevin Johnson. "Kingpin" talks in a conversation about his private life and future plans.
Hello Kevin, thanks that you agreed to do this interview for boxingnews.pl. So, How are you? What's "Kingpin" doing except boxing?
Kevin Johnson: I'm a full time father, I've had custody of my daughter for 7yrs now!
Are you still in training? What are your plans for future? I heard that you'll fight in September...If it's true... Who will be your opponent?
KJ: I wanna fight whoever they bring me that's in thee top 10!
Are u thinking that you still can become a world champion?
KJ: I know 100% , that I will be champ & no one can stop me from doing so!
In retrospect, how would you rate your performance in the title fight against Vitali Klitschko? Do you want rematch? If so, what would you change in your performance?
KJ: I will f!ck him up on a rematch , all I have to do is let my hands go n I got him. He can't touch me, notice in my fight how his face looked afterwards? Just incase here's a photo! Who else did this much damage, No One!
Which Klitschko brother is better in your opinion?
KJ: The oldest brother is better!
Polish heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek will be fighting with your former rival, Vitali Klitschko. What is your prediction for this fight? Maybe you can say something about Vitali's strengths and weaknesses, what Tomasz should to do to defeat the Ukrainian giant? What was the hardest thing in fight against Vitali?
KJ: Adamek is too small for Vitali, he's gonna get crumbled! It's not hard to beat Klitzschko , u just gotta let ur hands go and have great defense at the same time!
What do you think about the present and future heavyweight? Is there anyone who can break the dominance of Klitschko brothers?
KJ: Anyone can beat the younger brother, he's very easy to beat with my skills, the oldest is a tough cookie to crack but he's very beatable as well! They don't hit hard at all either , to me!
I heard that you really don't like Chris Arreola... What do you think about last rumors that he would fight with Wladimir... Does he have any chance?
KJ: Arreola does what he does, but when it comes down to being an American Champ , that's me not him, it won't be him it will be me!
Do you know some other Polish boxers except Adamek? What do you think about them?
KJ: Yes, but Americans has ran championship boxing for as long as you n I know so! We will always be the best, no other country has fighters better than what we have, the heavyweight titles will be back home soon!
Have you ever been in Poland? What do you think about this country?
KJ: Poland is a great place , the world is different, there are so many county's & different cultures, ethnics, religions & woman! I like to see as much as possible, The more you see the more you'll be!
Who is your favorite boxer of all time?
KJ: Larry Holmes- Ali - Tyson , those are my top 3
When did you start to interest and train boxing?
KJ: I liked boxing the moment it started kickin my Azs ! I was 17!

KJ: I luv Visiting Jamaica , Dominican Republic & Brazil!
What is your favorite movie, book?
KJ: favorite movies is Scare Face / Mo Money/ Face Off/ Prison Break. Favorite book is ( T D Jakes- He Emotions!
Do you have a passion or hobby?
KJ: My passion is Women, my hobby is playing the piano & shooting pool!
How was your alias "Kingpin" created?
KJ: KingPin Came from my brother Brian & his best friend Gardy, don't ask me how, lol!
What guides your life? What values? Is boxing everything for you?
KJ: I worked in real estate for years and I plan to go back into it as well as making good investments & annuity's all over!
What's your biggest dream?
KJ: I don't Dream, if I had to say so I always dream that when I die I just wanna go to heaven , because HELL is too damn hot ! Plus, to be Heavyweight champ of the world.
Maybe do you want say something else?
KJ: I would like to think those people all around the world who supported me and the ones who didn't ! I would like to think all my haters who said I would never make it this far! I would like to think my brother ( Brian) who took me from ground zero and got me alllllllllllllllllllllllll the way To the top and we are still pushing hard!
