Too soon for him to be calling out Khan or Bradley. Calling out Alexander is fine tho. Paris needs a couple more good wins before getting a fight against Khan or Bradley to legitimately have a chance at beating either of them.

I agree a couple more good fights and Vernon Paris will be a #1 contender in one organization or another. The IBF sticks to their guns most so they will probably strip Khan if he doesn't fight any of his mandatories. I would want to see Paris-Alexander personally.

paris needs to HONE his skills a bit more for that upper level.....

i think he showed that he has the metal toughness, and the heart, will, coupled with sure fire determination.....

you can't take that away from him and those are MAJOR assets for a fighter, which a lot of guys that fight don't have it on the same level he does, you can tell he has all that stuff at the top level of things, but the rest of his skill set and attributes need some work and with the proper work and all, he can do some big things in boxing.

he's exciting, comes to fight, has heavy hands, takes a good shot, etc, he just needs to build upon what he has, sharpen stuff up, and most importantly in conjunction with all that, GET WORLD CLASS EXPERIENCE, THEN go and try and land those type fights.

we all know he's willing to fight any of those guys, and he might think and feel like he's ready, the fact of the matter is, he's not, although if properly brought up by his management, he could very well toss his hat into the "A Level " fight game........

he has a good chance at making it to the top level if he sticks to a solid plan....... and if he doesn't meet up with ay trouble outside the ring....

dude has been stabbed with a punctured lung before, still has like two bullets in him from getting shot multiple times, the guy's environment would be my biggest concern for him, where he goes, and who he hangs out with....

Paris can't beat any of the top 4 at 140 which is IMO Khan, Bradley,Maidana and Matthysee.

I won't hate the man for calling out the best. Espn fighters can fight too. But i would try to get in there with maybe Holt or Judah 1st before stepping up to Khan or Bradley. Lucas puts him on ice.
