Tarver's problem has always been punch output. The man just doesnt punch unless you completely stop punching.

I realize that his output isn't great, but even when he's punching, he is so sloppy with his punches. He always has been, too. You can see it when he fought Jirov in the amatueurs that he was a sloppy puncher. Again, I'm not doubting his power or skill, but he's a damn sloppy puncher. It almost annoys me to watch him because of it.

Toney has trouble with illusive fighters who can run for 12 rounds.

Toney is a HORRIBLE fight for Tarver.

He couldn't hurt Toney, and he would get beaten down BADLY to the body and stopped.

I think all of those fighters would be big trouble for Tarver. He ran out of gas BIG TIME in his 3rd with Jones. Put some heavy-weight pounds on him and there's no way he's going to make it through the fight.
