George Foreman hitting the HW bag....

I believe Saddler would sometimes give up on trying to train Foreman and let him just whack the bag until he broke it. Opting to let him coast along mainly on his power.
Hey it worked out if he's routinely a top 10 ATG heavyweight.Comment

Top ten for sure on my list (if I had one). He doesnt get the credit he deserves from alot of people, just based on the Ali fight. People thought Ali was going to die in the ring when that fight got signed. People seem to forget that fact. George was just a monster.Comment

Because Ali was supposedly passed it and george was known for his power. Not because he was some incredible boxer with crazy skills.
Old george beats young goerge into next week.Comment

I think this might be an open workout described in "The Fight", where Saddler was operating under the belief that Ali would slow down and basically become a heavy bag, so this was merely a demo as to how he thought the fight would end when that happened. Not the best call in history...Comment

I remember a story Hulk Hogan told one time, when he was a huge star in wrestling still, where he did a charity boxing match that was one round with George Foreman. This was probably in the early or mid 90's. Hogan's no boxer, but he was like 6'8" 300 pounds or something. Obviously George was just clowning and messing with Hogan, and then right before the round ended George gave Hogan a punch to the shoulder at like 75% or so, and Hogan said his entire right side went numb.
Foreman had ridiculous clubbing power.Comment

I remember this time when boxers could fly and they fought in the air while flying.
Ive met Hulk Hogan, stood next to him, he is maybe 6'3 and at his prime he was probably 255 lbs of roided up water weight.Comment
