    Cotto-Margarito; Unknowns

    The Cotto-Margarito rematch is very interesting for a number of reasons, least of all the sheer amount of unknown factors around this fight. To list a few;

    1. What did the losses to Mosley and Pacquiao do to Margarito, if anything?
    2. Can Cotto hurt and back up Margarito?
    3. Can Steward fix the mistakes from the first fight?
    4. What will Margarito's punching power be like versus the first fight?
    5. Is Cotto psychologically ready to take punishment from Margarito and still come back with more desire to win?
    6. How much will the fight being in New York lift Cotto, if at all?
    7. Will Cotto say to Margarito directly that he believes illegal wraps were used in the first fight?

    So many questions, true compelling boxing-drama.

    Regardless of how the fight goes, huge props to Cotto for stepping up and attempting to take revenge on a person who beat him in a brutal fashion.

    December 3rd can't come soon enough.

    Not really unknown. Clearly they're both shot. That being said Margarito still beats him.

      I'd have to disagree, I think Cotto would soundly beat Margarito. Cotto is the more polished fighter and even though his power is not really there he can easily outpoint and outbox Margarito, as he was displaying in the first fight. Nowadays El Tornado is just good as a punching bag.

        They're both past their prime, but that also means that this could be an even fight, with both boxers having a chance of winning.

                Both clearly shot---based on what? How Pacquiao beat them?

                Margarito may still win, no doubt, but how? Cotto is coming off two better performances.

                  why do people think it still 07

                  Margarito is shot to **** he obviously doesn't have any power unless he loads his gloves again his last legit win was 3 years ago

                  Cotto is borderline shot based on his recent opponent selections and purposely trying to drain Margarito at a catch weight (I'm hoping Cotto wont stoop that low)
