Monte Barrett vs. David Tua this weekend: your prediction?

Wow this is a tough call. I rewatched the first fight today, and it looked different than it did sitting in the venue. Tua actually landed some great body shots that would have put down a lot of fighters. Monte was very prepared for that fight, and it looks like he is again. But I'm going to go with David, because he is desperate. He's broke and needs this win very badly. He's not in the best of shape, but he's looked worse also. If he KOs Monte, no one will care what he weighed. But I won't be shocked if Monte pulls this off, either.Comment

I'm going to try to get up to watch it -- maybe I just won't go to sleep! The main event won't be on before 10pm Kiwi time, which I guess is 4am EDT?New Zealand Sky TV. We will likely find a stream.
It will be on very early Saturday my (Pacific) time, probably about 2 AM. I plan to stay up tonight and watch it.
Barrett looks in great shape, Tua is overweight.
It seems that David loves hamburgers more than he loves boxing.
We've gotta find a stream because this is going to be very dramatic no matter what happens. So much is on the line for Tua -- and for Monte as well.Comment

One explanation is that he actually did train hard but didn't eat right and firmed up the muscle underneath the fat, making his upper body appear more bulky than usual.Comment
