Lara seems to have a "do or die" attitude about his career. With just three years as a pro, Erislandy already has seventeen professional fights. He's had some notable opponents, among them P. Will.

I'm not sure I would've liked to see Lara move up in competition this quickly, but I have to respect his ambition and apparent ability to deliver. Nearly all of us realize Erislandy beat Williams. If Lara officially defeats Dzinziruk, his career might really take off.

lara wins this easily and immediately becomes super overrated and one of the p4p best.

Dzinziruk is another example of the bonehead way that HBO wastes money on unworthy fighters.

How are you going to pay him that much, and offer him another fight on the network, when he hasn't done squat?

dzinziruk has his fight with konecny which was a close one the first time around. if he comes out on top, this would be an awesome fight for both guys, hopefully it happens.

he's trying to get out of that fight because he knows we will lose again. he's willing to take his chances against anyone else on hbo.

yeah, now i remember that article about the hbo problem if he loses to konecny. won't they strip him of his belt if he doesn't fight konecny? damn, i think he should try and take the hbo paycheck/fight vs lara and afterwards try to get his belt back, win or lose.

If the fight is in the US(assuming HBO puts it on) then who the hell is going to buy tickets??? Neither guy has any fan base in the US. The attendance will be piss poor.
