Former Italian feather and bantamweight champ Mario Sitri has passed away in Livorno at the age of 75. Sitri represented Italy in the 1956 Olympics and won silver in the European championships in Prague 1957. He then turned pro and compiled a record of 33-25-2 over the next ten years fighting all over Europe and in Australia taking on the likes of Johnny Famechon, Jose Legra, Joe Tetteh, Willy Quator and Love Allotey.
