Former three division champion Erik Morales has next fight already planned out. Morales returns on September 17th in a fight with Lucas Matthysse for the vacant WBC junior welterweight title. if Morales wins the WBC crown, his name has been mentioned as a possible opponent for WBA/IBF champion Amir Khan in December.

I actually think Maidana is a better match up for Morales.

Don't believe GUERRERO comes to be beat,ROBERT has skills,speed and determination.......not an easy fight for MAIDANA at all.
I believe GUERRERO vs MAIDANA will be a tremendous fight.

lol, so this is assuming morales wins, maidana loses his interm wba strap but then gets a shot at the regular wbc belt.
hope matthysse beats this guy and we get matthysse/guerrero, that would be a ****in fight. i'm a fan of both guerrero and matthysse so that would be awesome. khan could fight peterson i guess. i'm not too hyped on khan unifying the division anymore unless it's against bradley....

He never even mentioned Khan.

Khan is all wrong for El Terrible anyway.

Maidana gave Khan hell, and Morales gave Maidana hell, but I doubt Morales would give Khan many problems.

that's funny tbh. all the show trying to get khan another strap, and then morales doesn't want to cooperate.
