Would Prime Pernell Whitaker be successful in todays WW division?

Does he beat Mayweather, Pacquiao, Mosley and others?

Well he was better at lower weights but I see little reason why Whitaker at WW (especially pre-1996) wouldn't be successful. He was still a great fighter at 147.

The only guys that could compete with Sweat Pea would be Manny and Floyd.

No one knows who would win though.

If they say they know, they're probably bias.

So you guys see Pernell taking Pacquiaos power okay? Or would his defense be that great that Pacquiao would miss alot?

Yep. I think P beats Floyd and Manny. And yes, I'm bias toward P.

I could see Pac getting lucky with a flash knockdown. Ala Buddy Mcgirt.

But Whitaker would frustrate Manny with his defense.
