I never understood why people thought he won the rematch with ONR. He started well,but arguably lost every round from about five on.

Once ONR adjusted, he took over the fight.

i did not see the rematch with nino so i really cant comment on it....i was asking sensation coz ive read a few who said he got jobbed....

I may be in the minority here, but I like Mayol the boxer more than Mayol the slugger.

Mayol has the physical size and range to be a boxer-puncher type, but his stamina has betrayed in several fights, especially the last fight on the Pacquiao undercard, and against Nino the second time around.

As far as Marquez, you never know with either guy.

I really did think Mayol won the rematch, this was probably the best I had seen Mayol look up until the 9th round or so. Mayol was boxing, landing good right crosses and not getting hit much. He did slow down bad in the late rounds, but the scorecards weren't even in the realm of possibility.

Michael Koncz came out and said that he thought Mayol lost, which was shocking to me. I thought it was a really close fight, but I thought Mayol won the fight.

I just don't think Mayol gets as much credit for the work he does while boxing that he gets while slugging.
