I may be in the minority here, but I like Mayol the boxer more than Mayol the slugger.

Mayol has the physical size and range to be a boxer-puncher type, but his stamina has betrayed in several fights, especially the last fight on the Pacquiao undercard, and against Nino the second time around.

As far as Marquez, you never know with either guy.

Who has Mayol beat that would make you all think hed handle Tyson that easy. Dont even say the headbutt of year against Edgar Sosa. Everytime Mayol has stepped up he hasnt been able to pull through. If Archi could KO him then I couldn only imagine Tyson would be able to as well. Mayol is a tough dude and he will come to fight, but I dont think hes on Tysons level I read he almost got dropped by someone who had lost 7 of his last 9 fights. I do hope the fight gets made though would be a good addition to the Marquez card.

Both will give it their all but I got Tyson by KO in the 4th unless its stopped before then cause Mayol likes to ram people with his head and most likely their is going to be a cut in this fight.

oh i agree...mayol is pretty good techinicain, thats with or without his headbutt...lol...he's quick with both hands and feet , he hits hard too.....did'nt see the second nino fight but i heard he got jobbed.....marquez can be outboxed obviously as he did vs mepranum and i think mayol is levels above him.....how did he look last night ?..

mayol should've been the first mofo to beat calderon......twice, but both ended up in the headbutt so i cant really complain about the decision...

the sosa ko was legit, they even gave sosa 5 minutes to recover,he said afterwards he was ok then he got koed .. then excuses came..lol

mayol is way better than meparnum, mepranum outboxed marquez...

way to overrate tyson....mayol is techinicaly more sound than mepranum...he hits harder too.....mayol was giving it to solis till he got caught, tyson aint got the skillset to set up mayol like that.....marquez is just a bit more skilled than segura,who is just a caveman....but he gotta admit he's tough as nails so i aint gonna count him out....
