Well it's common knowledge that his amateur record reads something like 84-6. So yes as an amateur he's not undefeated. And, it's known that he didn't win the gold medal in the Olympics.

But, obviously he's undefeated as a pro.

Martin Castillo was far from a bum as a professional fighter.

When someone has to go back 16 years, when you were a teenager, before your pro career began to find a blemish, that speaks in volumes. This tells you just how great Mayweather truly is. He is as close to the perfect fighter that there will ever be.

yes but somehow when theyre flaunting the undefeated "0" record and uses this to degrade others, it is as if there never was a time theyve tasted defeat , when in fact even in his pro career not only once that he fought so closely that decision could have gone either way meaning to say they are not that always dominating that any above average fighter-boxer really have a chance to beat him only if they were really open to challenges. but theyre were not. they rather choose to defend that undefeated record through brash talking, racial slur, etc. and talking about amateur, its more funnier that floyd was really defeated by an amateur boxer.

Hahaha...Mayweather's name looms so large over boxing right now, that guys who beat him in the amatuers at 112lbs are now using it to promote their next bouts...and their entire existance in the sport for that matter.
