LOL!!! Cotto's people have been really careful bringing him up. Hand-picking his opponents from blown up lightweights to limited jr. welters. If he's the truth, I'd like to see him take on Vivian Harris. Alot of people believe he's ready. The toughest fight he had was against N'Dou & he took Cotto to the limit, & N'Dou was injured. Harris is bigger, stronger, & way more rounded than N'Dou. Too bad none of the top jr. welters won't fight him so we can find out just how good he is.

Floyd won't know what to do with a fighter who is quick, great defensively, accurate, and powerful. On top of it all he's patient and composed...Floyds defense won't fluster him the way it did Corrales. Cotto works so well to the body, in fact, well enough to the point where he would have the luxury of PBF standing in front of him later on in the fight. Cotto also cuts the ring off like a vet. This is one fight PBF does not want.

How do you know Cotto has all those things. He looks good in all those catagory's against c level fighters. I want to see how accurate he is or how good his d is against top notch fighters before I'll say that he has any chance against Floyd

I never say he is going to walk through any fight with ANY of the top 140 guys. He's still somewhat inexperienced but he has what it takes to beat all of these guys. i think floyd takes an edge on cotto
cotto likes to come in
and floyd likes to cover up and counter
so either cottos hits would be too much
or floyds counters would be too quick and sharp

Your still talking like a littile boy. A real man doesnt say something about someone's mother the first time someone disagree's with them. You havent read all my post on every thread about Cotto because if you did then you would know that I like him. I would pick him against Gatti, Hatton and have a 50-50 with Harris. Gatti and Hatton havent really beaten anyone either and Harris has beat some good but not great boxers. All I said is that Im sick of people saying after he beats people like Pinto and Baily that he would kill Floyd or that he will dominate this division or that he would destroy Chico. All those things are taking it way too far. He looks good but the guys he has beat are not elite enough to say that he can beat Mayweather, Chico, or dominate the division. If he fights Chop next then we will find out how good he really is

You just said yourself. Cotto hasn't fought a top guy at jr. welter because he's not ready. Floyd's defense is superior. Cotto won't be able to land a clean punch on him because of his style. He'll make the green rookie look silly & counter punch him all night. Cotto might be stronger, but not more talented or more ring savy.

I was being sarcastic regarding your reference to him as an up & comer. FBF likes to showboat against the ropes......That will be his undoing. Cotto breaks the other guys by body shots, then the head. PBF has not come up against a guy who is as methodical as Cotto.

After the fight, he'll be renamed, Ugly Boy Floyd. In any event, he needs a good hiding. He's too big headed for his own good! His attitude is spilling over into his domestic life as well. If he carries on in the manner in which he is now doing so, he is heading for a jail term.
