People who talk smack are always the biggest cowards. Its true for anything, life or Boxing.

Take those "Thugs" who talk trash with their mouth and pretend to be tough guys, they are the biggest cowards when alone and would only fight you 5:1 or when they have a gun because they cant fight.

Same with boxers 99.9% of time the guys who are starting trash and yapping are the dudes who are scared and insecure.

You dont see Mafia bosses running around on the street starting fight cuz someone looked at them funny or bumped into them on the street.

I think Alvarez is an undeserving champion, but Gomez sure aint gonna whip him. Suliman and the WBC should be ashamed for handing Canelo the belt and letting him feed on no-hopers. Rhodes, Hatton, and Gomez aren't worthy title contenders. I think you all miss the point. Alfonso wants to ensure an action packed fight with some tension and what better way than to do a little smack talking. He doesn't do that very much, so he is doing it with purpose. Watch the video of him solving a rubik's cube in 2 minutes. You all overlook his intelligence. Why is Alvarez fighting another Welterweight?, i know Rhodes was a LMW but Saul does seem to fight a lot of guys from the smaller division. Should be easy work for Canelo.

Gomez is getting under Canelo's skin. That can be either bad or good for Gomez. My guess is that it'll work against him in the fight. Canelo could've been content winning on points but may have the extra motivation to go for the KO after listening to Gomez yap.
