      I think most people who hated him back then probably miss him now too, you cant say the guy was boring.

        I miss him, too. Always nice to go to a fight and see him ringside and coming over to talk to (and, in some cases, slap) the fans, though.

          Umm, no it isn't. Hamed's CV is chronically underrated by people who don't really know who he fought and beat. I'd suggest going back and doing some (non boxrec) research on that - it isn't an ATG-worthy CV, but it's a solid string of champs, future champs, former champs and decent contenders (with the same mediocre fare that pads all fighters' records mixed in).


          If you don't think Hamed was world-class, I'd love to know how you define world-class.

            I just wish we had someone with that talent to throw in at featherweight right now. Boxing can always do with a talent like Hamed.
