PAC VS ORTIZ (shut up about oppenent choice)

Recently, Freddie Roach stated that Pacquiao and Oritz had an epic sparring session one of the best he had ever seen. He also stated that Ortiz was a dangerous opponent for Floyd. I point this out because Pac fans having been saying this is not a good opponent. Watch how Floyd picks this kid apart.. Your thoughts. Peace

I heard Lamont Peterson had an epic sparring match with Floyd.

Doesn't matter though. Sparring is sparring to elite fighters. They treat it as what it is.

It's only delusional fans that make it into something it's not.

      my thoughts?

well if ortiz loses pac is gonna fight him of course at catch weight..and right now we know ortiz is nothing but when he steps inside the ring with pacquaio he's gonna be an exceptional fighter even tho he lost to floyd.

de la hoya, hatton and old mosley

cotto was done after the margarito fight and he had no proper coach with sandiago in his corner and margarito got smashed by mosley and ever since they took away his plaster he wasn't the same fighter anymore..and correct me if I'm wrong weren't those fights at catch weight??? He fought for the 154 title now he can't defend the title at that weight..stuff like that is killing boxing.

If pac fought cotto when he was unbeaten or the margarito who smashed cotto then he would get some respect.

This, sparring is sparring. And judging the sparring videos of Pac he's about half in intensity levels when he spars compared to a real fight.

It may have been good sparring, but I remember coming on here before the pac-diaz fight and apparently ortiz hit the deck a few times, once with a body shot, I will give him the benefit of the doubt because he was young, but it is not a good sign that he was hitting the canvas.
