This needs to be repeated. Golovkin is only a small Jr middleweight. He's getting away with fighting at middleweight because his professional opposition hasn't been that great. In a recent interview, Golovkin said he walks around a 162 pounds and fights in the same weight at fight night. Lucian Bute for all intent and purposes is a light heavyweight despite fighting at super middleweight. He weighs in at around 183-185 at fight night. It's a mismatch. He's too big for Golovkin now.
