      really sad

boxing is a contact sport and you know what ur getting yourself into but its still heartbreaking

      most wrestlers die young aswell

vince mcmahon got rich on the blood of dead wrestlers

to an extent chris benoits actions are blood on vince's hands imo

You see this is why some of the lack of respect on these forums is quite sad, I cringe every time someone calls a certain boxer a coward etc.

In 1949, fighting for the Australian Lightweight Title, Archie Kemp died after being KO'd by Champion Jack Hassen. Kemp was a very talented boxer and his tragic death virtually destroyed Jack Hassens career. Hassen a dynamite puncher who was on his way to boxing greatness, he was one of the top contenders for the world title, but after the Kemp fight. Jack could never again bring himself to hit with full power, he faded from the sport a broken man. As an old man in a nursing home old Jack said that he never got over the tragedy.
