I dont agree to be fair. I think if Matthysse beat Morales then Khan would face him for another belt.

Most posters on here said Khan wouldn't face Maidana..he did. Then they started on he wouldn't face Bradley..Khan then tried his best to make the fight happen.

Iv'e not seen any signs indicating Khan wouldn't fight Matthysse if he held a title.

Bradley-Matthysse is a good fight that Bradley wins.

Could be closer because of the ring rust. Lucas could be his tune-up for Khan.

Agree on these points. If Bradley and Khan are never to fight, Khan Vs Guerrero (if Guerrero wins), and Bradley Vs Matthysse are 2 fight i would be interested in seeing.

When Golden Boy pulled off a WBC light-welterweight title shot for three-weight world champion Erik Morales at the expense of Timothy Bradley, it was immediately assumed that if ‘El Terrible’ picked up the title that he would face stablemate Amir Khan in a three-belt unification later this year.

According to the WBC website though, that fight is now unlikely to take place as one of the stipulations of the bout gaining WBC title status was that the winner must defend the title against the now ‘champion in recess’ Timothy Bradley.

Many fans thought that Bradley, 27, was harshly treated by the WBC when he was stripped of the belt without being given the chance to line up his first defence and it seems that the WBC have felt compelled to place him as the mandatory challenger to the victor on September 17th.

WBA and IBF champion Khan had already been pencilled in to meet Morales in December with all three titles on the line if the Mexican legend could come through Lucas Matthysse unscathed, but the WBC has now thrown a spanner in the works and Golden Boy may have to look at other options for Khan’s final 140lb fight and that could mean renegotiating with Bradley himself in an ironic twist of fate.

So if Bradley is free in December and Khan is free in December whats holding the fight up? I thought timmy had contractual issues thats why he couldnt fight but now hes gonna be fighting morales or lucas?

I think if it's morales he will vacate and fight khan, he would have already accomplished his dream of winning the 4th title at weight and he can then fight khan for the big pay day. Why would he fight Bradley? There is no upside.

I think the maidana-Guerrero winner will become a big option but it's kind of hard to talk about it now as we don't have a winner yet, I think that's why it hasn't been at the top of the list, but if it is a great fight and we get a clear winner I would expect that fighter to be a big possibility.

I think it will be guerrero...and personally that is the fight I would love to see as much as khan-bradley.
