Joe Zanders is a hype job he can't even get one of his own fighters from his Long Beach gym to win national titles. His gym has all the equiptment to make champions.

Finally a coach that defines amatuer boxing. Joe is the coach that will lead this team to olympic gold. I'm looking forward to the growth this team will experience through his guidence.

2008 was by far the most pathetic showing of all time. Haven't been following the team much but from what I've seen there isn't that much more promise this go around either. The am's certainly aren't a great judge of talent anymore with all the bad judging and head gear but it doesn't look good to be doing so poorly.
