I honestly don't know, heard he was chugging on 7 ups for the Funeka camp

Right now I say it's best he sticks to training, it'd be interesting to see how well he does at that, his father taught him and he was pretty darn skilled himself, maybe he can develop some good fighters, we'll see.

It was a real pity man. He was an truly incredible talent. All that discipline up until when it really started to matter. He was genuine top P4P material in his lower weight classes and could have beaten anyone in and around them, yes, including Pac at that time. His fight with Barrios is still a favourite of mine. He never carried his power up though, but never should have gotten up anywhere near where he did toward the end anyway. A very natural 122, 126 pound fighter.

I think that fight, and most of his in fact (apart from a couple of later fights) dispel the myth of him just running. He brawled like a madman at times. Lotta fun when he wasn't a fat, lazy bastard. The second Funeka fight, although he came in disgustingly overweight, was actually very impressive. Funeka was very solid.

His brother seems to be more disciplined, just not as good. He got stopped in the 1st round I believe it was, don't remember against who.

on the real though, when you fight and make humberto soto look slow and almost amateurish, you're a ****en baaaaad man.

his determination to see things through just didn't match his talent, and that's sad, because dude had a ***** ton of talent. he could have put generations of his family in a sweet spot financially had he, like cua said in another thread, manned the **** up.

Now Joan Guzman was the officially last great slick fighter that I have seen in awhile. His evasive maneuvers made guys like Soto look confused.

                    Same diet as James Toney.

Didn't like to train as well.
