Lesnar had solid numbers but that's only because of the WWF fanbase. It kind of is a bit disrespectful to compare anything those two guys accomplished to real athletes like Floyd and Manny. And no I'm not hating and yes it's possible that either one could lose but more than likely it won't happen because they are special athletes. Lesnar is just big, he's not very skillful and that Fedor guy really didn't accomplish much. Still to this day MMA is a crap shoot, with so many ways to win and honestly great athletes do no choose MMA, there is very little money in it so that's why you see this happen to all of their guys, they just aren't that great. Besides Manny and Floyd even if they lost, they wouldn't go on losing streaks, it really isn't comparable tbh.

It's potential was unlimited but also unrealized.

        We'll never know.

And I am not talking about their talent compared to boxers (there is no comparison ), I'm talking about their ability to put asses in seats and sell PPV's if they ever did fight.

Exactly. The biggest MMA fight in the world would hardly make a splash in the global sports world.

" That pro wrestling ****? " as most would ask

Undefeated Fedor vs Undefeated Lesnar would have been like King Kong vs Godzilla and it's been a hell of a long time since ANY fight could be seen like that. To the casual sports fan, it would have been a heavyweight championship fight for a new generation in an era where it seemed like the heavyweight division in boxing simply disappeared.

If you honestly think fedor vs brock would have outsold or even came close to Mayweather vs. De la hoya something is wrong with your head.

sorry but the only thing I don't like and i'm sure others here don't like is that the best do not fight each other in boxing as often as they should....not even close. There is too much cherry-picking and promoters take less risk in order maximize profit.

In the UFC, in a any given division if a fighter keeps winning he will get his title shot. In boxing thats not the case. All the different sanctioning bodies really suck. if two fighters ranked #2 & #3 in a division fight, they should know going in that the winner for sure will get a shot at #1, whether that fighter is an unknown, old, whatever.

You win you move up, you lose you move down....not off the map. A loss doesn't signify the end of your career either.
