Lucas Matthysse wins this most likely. Maidana has the bad habit of underestimating old fighters. He had trouble with Corley and Morales but nobody would say they're better than Khan, Kotelnik, or Ortiz. Matthysse didn't take Corley for a joke so he won't take this for a joke. His body punching doesn't allow Morales to spoil his way to a finish line. Matthysse will have moments of lacking aggression that Maidana always brings to keep it fun and close but he still brings enough to fold Morales over 12.

hopefully matthysse wins this. he's lost two close fights already, he can't afford to lose a third one to an old morales. maidana had problems with him, but i think it's mainly due to maidana's lack of skills, matthysse is a smarter fighter imo. hopefully it's a good fight, but i hope matthysse takes it. he should, but we'll see what happens. he should really prepare himself to try and stop him late, don't let it get close and end up going to a decision, it could turn out bad for him.

If the fight is close at all Morales will win on the score-cards. The Judges probably love him, plus you never know how shady boxing can be at times.

Right now I have no idea, but I certainly want to see Matthysse to win. He's been screwed over twice and that belt all packaged for Morales is corruption at its finest by the WBC.

Erik is in my top two favorite fighters of all time, but Im so worried for him in this one. He wont win at his age and at this weight, no doubt there. Matthysse is no joke. He is a more complete fighter then Erik's last opponent, and hits just as hard (or close anyway.) I just dont want Erik to get hurt. Best case is maybe this is the fight that convinces him to retire (for good this time.) As much as it pains me, the ref waves this one off before the final bell.

I dont expect lucas to stop morales i believe his power is overrated if he had such devasting power he would have stopped judah.

If this goes to the scorecards you know jose has that built all wrapped up for morales. I feel for lucas and think he might be on the end of 3rd robbery. But he must know this so he took the fight believing he will KO morales

Maidana beat Lucas 3 times in amateurs, and Morales was giving hell to Maidana using just 1 eye. Lucas better trains hard.

Right now I think Lucas is better than Maidana.
