Agree with the bold. Matthysse just has to up his activity some more and he'll be more dangerous.

Yup, I'm sure we've discussed this before.

It is not a bad match-up for Morales, he is still a tough dude who has some boxing skill.

Even if Matthysse is better than Maidana which is not certain he is not a guy that will not be there for Morales, so even if he puts a beating on Morales, Morales is going to be there getting his, so in that sort of fight he still has a chance.

How is that not a good undercard fight, the young hungry guy has the advantage but it is not like Morales is going to punk out and he could teach the younger guy a lesson because he seems to be very into the sport.

A better card, but not a great one by any means. One competitive fight (main event) and another interesting fight (Morales-Matthysse). The other two are slaughters. Can't wait though.

Vargas-Lopez: Great little fight between these two young jr. welters. Vargas is a good looking prospect and Lopez has a nice little run going on beating Cordoba and Dallas in upsets. I see this as a 50-50 fight. The most even fight on paper for the event.

Matthysse-Morales: Great fight. Matthysse should end up winning. Morales looked good against Maidana, Maidana always fights down to the level of his opposition. Matthyse more precise and shorter, straighter punches should be the difference in this fight.

                Alvarez-Gomez: I don't like it, but I'll watch it.

Mayweather-Ortiz: How will Money deal with a young lion with power? Has Mayweather grown old? It will also be interesting to see how Mayweather deals with a legit southpaw opponent.

4/4. The 3 fights at the MGM more than make up for the weak main event at Staples.
