just answer a simple question, who would you rather brag about having on your resume?

        Group 1:
        David Haye
        Samuel Peter
        Chris Byrd
        Calvin Brock
        Hasim Rahman

        or

        Group 2:
        Sonny Liston
        George Foreman
        Joe Frazier
        Floyd Patterson
        Earnie Shavers

          They did? How?

This only has a point if Wlad had been available to fight the people Ali fought and vice-versa.

Since the people Ali fought are not available for Wlad to fight, there isn't much to say about it. The bigger names are on Ali's resume, but boxing itself was a far more popular sport in that era in the United States.

I don't think Wlad is better than Ali, but I'm not sure that his "proves" anything.

Wlad is lucky those fighters arent avail...if an old past prime corrie sanders can knock him senseless, imagine if Foreman got to him...

Corrie Sanders and Sam Peter are very hard punchers.

And most of the shots Peter knocked Wlad down with were rabbit punches.

Ali got dropped by CHUCK WEPNER...CHUCK WEPNER, so I guess it can happen to anyone, eh?

What criteria are you using for these guys being Wlad's top wins?

Sultan Ibragimov was the WBO heavyweight champion of the world when Wlad beat him.

Ruslan Chagaev handed Valuev his first ever loss and was still rightfully the WBA heavyweight champion of the world when Wlad beat him.

                  So the list should be:

                  David Haye
                  Ruslan Chagaev
                  Sultan Ibragimov
                  Chris Byrd
                  Samuel Peter
