Roy Jones Jr reminds me of Fedor. they both got away with doing **** "wrong" for many years, due to their superhuman speed and reflexes. They never really worried about tightening up their fundamentals, because no one had ever been able to exploit their holes. They're still both faster than most... but have slowed down enough that all of their technical flaws are being exposed by men they would have toyed with just a few years ago.
Physical gifts are wonderful if God blessed you with them, but there's a reason your coaches always stress the importance of solid fundamentals and good technique. Fedor and Roy are exhibits A and B. Randy Couture and Bernard Hopkins didn't have nearly as much raw talent as these two but a lifetime of focus on solid fundamentals allowed them to remain competitive much later in life than Roy and Fedor.
