Honest no hatrid ppv buys for big 3 ppvs this fall

    1. Mayweather vs Ortiz = 1.3 (alot of big names for undercard)
    2. Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 = 1.1 (A good undercard could bring it up)
    3. Cotto vs Margarito 2 = 600K (I know this is high but the first one did 450 and both are bigger names and the story and build is insane)

    Mayweather - Ortiz: 1.4 mil
    Pacquiao - Marquez - 950K
    Cotto-Margarito - 450K

    Justification:

    1) May/Vic are both English speakers and will have the full-boat HBO promotion with 24/7 and more. Both of their last fights were fan-friendly. Floyd is a consistent 1.3 million-ish seller. give that a bit of a bump for the Mexican holiday stacked with Mexican and Mex-Am fighters.

    2) Manny's numbers are slipping a bit and his last fight was unappealing to most fans. Don't believe the 1.3 million for Mosley; it did not do that. 1.3 mil was a fake Arum number. Notice Showtime STILL hasn't released a number. What's more, neither Manny nor Marquez are English speakers who galvanize non-fans with their rhetoric.

    3) The storyline in this fight will not overcome what is widely recognized among fans as a bout between two guys who have slipped considerably. You used to be able to count on Cotto to draw a big boricua fanbase - that's gone. This fight will do perhaps a bit more than the hardcore fanbase of 350-400K. Casual fans are not buying this.

I doubt Cotto or Margarito will sell above 200k. I just dont see it, because every house that orders it will have 60 Ricans or Mexicans in it watching it on 1 small ass tv.

There will be 20million watching but on 200k screens. lol

I got PBF vs. Ortiz doing about 1.4+
Marquez vs. Manny - 1 mill or lower
Cotto vs. Margarito - who cares but 400K or lower.

you do know that the first Cotto vs Marg did 500k

              and prediction

Ortiz vs Floyd-1.4 Morrales being in the undercard would boost up sales.

Pacquaio vs Marquez-1.1 Mexican are really going to order this fight because of the history between the two and the whole mexico vs pacquaio bull****.

Cotto vs Marga-400-600k The first one was a classic, and did 500k.

                Revs,

Do you mean to actual Mexicans... or the mexican-american community here in the states.

Because overseas PPV buys won't tally. We're talking apples-to-apples domestic buyrate.

Besides...all this is a moot point. Arum won't allow them to release the numbers when Floyd outsells the illiterate congressman for the zillionth time.
