Fighters of the Past that would have given the Klitschko's problems

The Klitschko's are good fighters but not great. The fact is that the level of Heavyweight opponents in this era aren't near as competitive as in previous years.

These are some fighters that I believe would have given the Klitschko's problems.

    1. Muhammad Ali - hands down and anyone who argues is either under 30 years of age or just doesn't know boxing.

    2. Young Larry Holmes - one of the best jab/right crosses in history
    3. Young George Foreman - his intense style would be intimidating...an easy early KO for both.
    4. Prime Sonny Liston (?) - not a lot of movement and small, but very powerful. I see him taking Vitali because he is less versatile but Wlad probably could pull this out...maybe.
    5. Prime Ken Norton - not that great of a chin...but would make a helluva fight...KO or get KO'd...Definitely either brother couldn't go the distance with this guy unless they just ran the whole time.
    6. Prime Michael Dokes - not a good resume but a former Champ none the less with a good chin and good power.
    7. Prime Tim Witherspoon is worthy to be here because of that famous overhand right that comes out of nowhere.
    8. Gerry Cooney - all around good but not great heavyweight and his big heart would make a good fight. He had enough boxing fundamentals not to get caught up with the jab which would make it interesting even he loses.
    9. Prime Mike Tyson - need I say more...in his prime he destroyed taller fighters.
    10. Prime Evander Holyfield - The Warrior - small but a pure fighter with power in every single punch he hits you with. Head movement and footwork is among the best ever.
    11. Prime Rid**** Bowe - fatigues but when he's on...he's on. At 6'5" I would destroy both of these guys.
    12. Lennox Lewis - destroyed the one that's most durable but has lesser skills...the other has more skills but less durable...go figure
    13. Prime and Clean Oliver McCall - never been KO'd (put to sleep or didn't make the count)...many say one of the hardest punchers and best chins of his era.
    14. Mentally Stable Andrew Golota - one of the guys that 'coulda been'. His best fights were with Rid**** Bowe. He could give the Klits a fit.
    15. Mentally Sharp Frank Bruno - this could give the Klits problems as well.
    16. Rocky Marciano (?) - he was a very small heavyweight but his heart and style would have been big trouble most top heavyweights today. Not mention he had big man's power.

Remember...I'm saying that all these fighters would win and for sure some of them I don't think would win, but the thing is these guys would the Klits the business...no doubt. None of these fights are easy fights for the Klits considering who they've fought, loss to, and have beaten. The Klit fans on the forum are so intoxicated with ******ity that they post as if these guy are even on the level of a Muhammad Ali. Clearly they aren't on that level yet. They are good but lets be reasonable...and sane!

    ******ED THREAD

TS is just another butthurt racist black supremacist who hates the fact that the Ukrainian Klitschko Brothers are the two most dominant fighters of all time.

    The Klitschkos are the negrocutioners.

Wlad and Vitali are the two greatest heavyweights of all time.

Either Klitschko beats any HW from any era.

      Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis

      THE TRUTH

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis barely survived the 2nd round, he was badly hurt, holding on for dear life, wobbling everywhere and staggering around the ring like a drunk. Lewis was badly hurt several times in the fight and was getting outboxed, outworked, outmuscled and outlanded by Vitali.

      punches landed

      Vitali 156

      Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

After the fight, Vitali intimidated the shit out of Lewis and made him look like a bitch.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

      Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his bitch ass into retirement.

George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"

Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.

Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.

Lewis was coming off the KO win over Tyson. In the Lewis-Tyson post fight interview Lewis stated "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age"

In an interview right before the Vitali fight, Lewis said "I'm at the peak of my powers, I will keep fighting for many more years"

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement.

Its funny how these guys actually convinced themselves there was a sudden drop in the caliber of (black) american hw athletes from the 80's to the 90's when the klits emerged.

I know it pains you to admit that the alpha male division now belongs to a bunch of white boys. Whites went through the same thing when they found out little by little that blacks run faster. Now you have to admit that slavs huge upper body strength gives them an advantage in hw combat sports.

            FAO: Tyson nuthuggers

Vitali and Tyson have 5 common opponents:

Lennox Lewis, Danny Williams, Jose Ribalta, Orlin Norris, Julius Francis

Vitali did better against every common opponent.

            Tyson KO'd Francis in 2.

            Vitali KO'd Francis in 2.

            Tyson-Norris was a no contest.

Vitali destroyed Norris in the 1st round.

            Tyson KO'd Ribalta in 10.

            Vitali KO'd Ribalta in 2.

            Lewis KO'd Tyson.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement.

            Williams destroyed Tyson in 4.

Vitali annihilated Williams. It was one of the most brutal beatdowns of all time.

            Either Klitschko demolishes Tyson.

              FAO: Bowe nuthuggers

Bowe is an overrated one hit wonder. He was a dumb slow punching bag who couldn't even throw a straight punch. He was totally outclassed, exposed and destroyed twice by mediocre Andrew Golota. He blatantly ducked Lennox Lewis, who was dominated by Vitali Klitschko.

              Either Klitschko destroys Bowe.

I like how you use a gif of Vitali with his head being held together by tape to "prove" he beat Lennox Lewis. Vitali got his ass beaten to a bloody pulp no matter what his connect rate was, the sport is called boxing. Did Lewis run like a coward afterwards? Hell yeah he did. But on that day, in that arena, Vitali got his ass beaten severely to the point where a doctor staked his reputation into saying this guy is not able to continue as damaged as he is now.

I really like Wlad and Vitali and they do get severely underrated by pretty much everyone. But neither are the greatest heavyweights of all time. That isn't even an opinion, its just the fact of the matter. They got nobody to fight except each other.

btw ts that list is on point. holyfield, prime tyson, lewis, ali, foreman imo win without a doubt. thought the klits are good enough to make all a great fight.

btw comparing tysons wins and vitali wins.. well tyson beat them earlier than vitali.. wouldnt vitali of course look better with older opposition?

"prime" Lewis would have been KO'ed easily that night. The extra weight saved him and he still was wobbled. If he was smaller he never would have been engaging clinches, and holding and hitting which ultimately caused the cut (illegally). Like Ali who gained weight and aged and had a much better chin in the mid 70's than he did in the late 60's, Lewis's extra weight helped his chin...which was his weakness. I dont expect you to understand this, because I am a boxing genius and you...no one even knows or cares that you exist.
