Lucian Bute (Boxing's most avoided fighter?)

Lucian Bute has been a world champion for 4 years now, is undefeated, and seems to possess the best 1punch power in boxing. His KOs of Alejandro Berrio, Edison Miranda, Librado Andrade, Fulgencio Zuniga, and JP Mendy were all pretty much sensational 1punch KOs.

Lucian Bute is absolutely the sport's #1 KO puncher and arguably (along with Froch and Ward) the #1 super middleweight in the world. Bute possesses amazing speed, power, boxing ability, really seems to be the total package.

Some people criticize Bute for not fighting at the level of the Super 6. But lets also remember that Bute has wins over "name" opponents in Sakio Bika, Edison Miranda and Librado Andrade. All of these guys are marginal names, and in comparison to Andrew Ward (who has common opponents of Bika & Miranda) Bute looked better.

It seems that fighters are avoiding Lucian.

Mikkel Kessler turned down 3.5 Million to fight Bute.

Kelly Pavlik turned down 1.1 Million to fight Bute.

Those are both GREAT offers from the Bute team and respective promotional groups. So quite literally, it seems that: Kessler and Pavlik don't want to fight Bute, and are probably afraid of Bute on some level.

That's not Bute's fault.

Bute has had 2 big fights lined up and both times the OTHER guy pulled out even though given a generous offer.

It seems no one wants to fight Bute and quite honestly, it just seems like Pavlik and Kessler are scared.

Why was Lucian not a part of the Super 6? I hope he fights the winner of Ward vs Froch. There should be no excuses. TBH, I think Bute really lost the first Andrade fight. That count was ridiculous.

We'll see about Bute after the Super Six is over. I expect either Ward or Froch, whoever wins, to bring all the Bute fans back down to Earth very harshly.
