Tarver is a constant underachiever, so I don't understand how anybody could honestly think he'd show up and be able to hang with any of the current top heavies, or even a past it fighter like Tyson.
Vitali would blister him, like he'd blister pretty much everybody else in the divison. Tyson would KO that milkdud Tarver calls a head off his shoulders. Toney would be the best match up for him, but he loses this one in pretty one sided fashion enroute to losing via late stoppage. Ruiz would hug him into a UD or even a possible late stoppage. Brewster, see Tyson.
Tarver needs to stay out of the heavies.Comment

IMO[/QUOTE]
Yall are crazy Tyson quit against mcbride and was hurt against DW. Besides both are taller and bigger than Tarver not to mention stronger. Like Toney i think Tarver could be a descent heavyweight but he should test himself first with guys like Guin Jirov, McBride fighters that will make it easy for him to understand if this is the right thing to do.Comment

Its hard to say how Tarver would be as heavyweight. We dont know how well he can take a punch from the big guys. I think he would beat Dom Guinn, Dav Williamson, John Ruiz, Jirov. Tyson its hard to say, Williams and McBride were big, Tarver is not. It would be close against Toney. As for Vitali, its hard to say because he does not lose many rounds. He has a history of struggling with southpaws[esp Byrd]. But I think Vitali is too strong for him. For his own sake he should stay away from Wladimir, for he would get destroyed.Comment
