How many ppv fights has pavlik had? How many times have his buys exceeded 1 million? How many belts in how many divisions has Pavlik won? How many losses does Pavlik have? How many 24/7's has Pavlik been featured in? How many promotional tours has Pavlik been on? How many record setting PPV's has Pavlik been a part of? How many times has Pavlik earned more than 1 million dollars for a fight? How about 5 million for a fight? 10?
Dude...just stop.

....compared to Mayweather, who...
Chose to retire instead of accepting less money than Oscar De La Hoya for a rematch after their first fight sold a record-breaking 2.4 million PPVs, for which Mayweather was at least half if not mostly responsible for (prior to the Mayweather fight, Oscar had only exceeded 1 million PPVs twice - against Felix Trinidad and Bernard Hopkins)
There is no comparison, dip****, and if you can't see that, you have your head buried in the sand deeper than Kelly Pavlik.....

and 3 1/2 mil for Kessler IS ridiculous. when do fighters (other than fights involving Klitchkos, Pac and Mayweather) ever make 3-4 mil. not that often - especially for a fighter like Kessler or Pavlik who isn't even top 3 in their own weight class
Neither Pavlik nor Bradley are in his position, but I was just interested to hear that posters opinion on the recent issue with Bradley and how it relates to the decision that Pavlik just made.
Again, I do not consider Pavlik to be in the position that Bradley is in right now either, just interested to hear, thats all.
And I dont believe the 3.5mil for Kessler, it just doesnt sound right.
My point is based around the "willingness" of many boxing fans to completely ignore the business aspect of the sport, just because it suited them to do so, today.
Bradley is convinced that he is next in line for Pac, but Pavlik does not have too many options at all..... it sounded like a good deal, not sure whats up with Kelly. He dont have too many chances left I imagine.

I would have thought that it was highly unlikely for a family situation to escalate to that extent, without alcohol being a contributing factor.
You are probably right, damn what a waste.
